I am a dedicated, self-taught artist whose painterly imagination remains grounded in the world of wild things. As a wildlife artist living on the border of Yellowstone National Park, the inspiration to paint or draw is never more than a few steps out the front door. I have been developing my own style, layering charcoals on canvas, and textured paint. The results have been quite exciting. Laying in the fur and other textures, I do my best in considerations of detail, drawing, design principles, texture, and refracted light. Having some years ago rededicated myself to my art studio, today my canvases have been shown in numerous group shows and are represented in collections around the world. It is my hope, through my work to help inspire people to appreciate and protect our natural world, and the creatures in it.
